Lesson Reflection

I felt like Janel and I did pretty well on our lesson. Our biggest fear was that we didn't want it to be boring and uninteresting to the students. We tried to keep them as much involved as possible and I think we did a pretty good job at it. Once we finished it was a big weight lifted off of our shoulders. All in all it was a great experience and learning lesson.

Digital Story Reflection

The making of the digital story wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be. It was very fun and entertaining, and I learned a lot throughout the process. My partner and I met up a couple times to work on the project and that was all we needed. We didn't need long and drawn out days because we knew what we were looking for and found it. By the time we were done with our project we were both pretty excited because we thought it looked really good. From the very first day we talked about doing a digital story, I had absolutely no idea how or what to do. Then by the time I completed my first digital story, I realized it wasn't that bad at all and it's very creative and interesting and I would most certainly do another one if I had the chance to.

Day 2 Ending

It's the end of the second day of the digital story. My partner and I have come up with some more great ideas for the story. Over then next couple days we plan to put more pictures and videos into our story. Also we plan to add in the music and narration. By Monday we are hoping we finish our digital story.

Day 2

It is Day 2 of the digital story project and I feel like my partner and I have a really good idea and grasp of what we're doing and how we're going to do it. I have a really good feeling about this, I hope it turns out really well. Today I plan to get more done than Day 1 and possibly start making the story, if not then just gather more information and we will be ready to put it all together by the end of the day.

Day 1 Ending

I feel as though my partner and I got a lot accomplished, and have basically the main storyline for our digital story. I am pretty excited about this project, it seems fun and very interesting and my partner and I have a very good grasp of the knowledge of our topic already so we should be pretty well off. Day 1 is complete and we will be looking forward to Day 2!

Digital Story Day 1

I think that my partner and I will get some basic ideas and brainstorming of our digital story today. I haven't read the whole book yet but I have read some of it. I don't think the digital story will be much difficulty at all, in fact i think it will be pretty cool once we get the hang of it. We have a couple ideas already about our digital story. We're thinking about having the first part about MLK and Janel will talk because she's more soft spoken and he was a peaceful guy and I will do Malcolm X because he was more violent throughout his protests.

Lesson Plan

My partner for the lesson plan is going to be Janel Alvarez. Our lesson is going to be about the hardships African Americans went through to be successful.
